Our sun shiney weekend

They just make me SO proud!

Playing in the woods on Mothers day.

Hi mom....

Lex taking a rest.

Myah actually listening when we told her to come. I think by the look of her nose she was digging, just a guess though.

We had a great family & friend filled weekend. Friday was Toby's birthday! After he got off of work we had dinner, ate cake, opened presents, and went for a walk. I have to think I am the luckiest girl alive for having that wonderful man. I can't imagine my life without him!
On Saturday the kids went to Grandma and Grandpa's while Tob and I went mountain biking outside of Echo. It was great to play on some new trails and spend time together. After we got back I spent the afternoon with my wonderful girlfriends and their babies. They are such great moms and I cherish the times we do get to spend together although it never seems like enough. After visting with the girls we squeezed Mothers day dinner in at my parents house with my mom, grandma, and brother. My mom (bless her heart) made all of us dinner and it turned out SO yummy. Then we went for a walk and the kids joined us on their bikes. We didn't get home until 11 pm after shopping but it was a GOOD day.
This morning for Mothers day the kids gave me gifts, Tob made breakfast and then we went out to play in the woods. We took the opportunity to start working on our mountain bike trail. We probably got about a mile or more cut out and cleaned up. We can't wait to have something near home to ride. It's a big project though and I am sure will take most of the summer. Now I need to finish getting the kids to bed. Just pulled a tick out of Nojah and looking forward to seeing what I accumulated for the day. Time for books! Hope everyone had a good weekend and enjoyed the sunshine. Happy Mothers Day to all you hardworking mom's out there!

Sounds like you had a great day. After reading this I felt like such a heel for not remembering Toby's Birthday. I mean GEEZ, first we can't make it to Nojah's party, then I got so busy with work and baseball that I forgot Toby's. Sorry Toby. I hardly know if I'm coming or going. I haven't forgot Nojah's gift yet either, but just need a window of opportunity to get to the post office. Scott is having some cysts taken off his head this week and a rather large one taken off his neck near his spine, so please be thinking of him. I think he may be a bit alarmed since the doctor wants to do it at the hospital now instead of the office. I hope it's not anything serious....he's been through enough already. Have a great week guys, Love, Melissa.

OK, so I would say judgin by the dirt on the TONGUE that Myah was digging! I had a good M day too. Loved/cherished the day with the kids (I love you guys!) and loved the dinner with the fam. After church on Sunday Dad & I drove up Mt. Harris as far as the snow would let us. Saw two big turkeys in a beautiful meadow and some deer.

So...tell me about the trail you are building. We haven't talked about that yet. Love Mom.
