Meet Toby's new friend PhilTheir friendship started last week when this little guy stopped by to hang out with Tob while he worked in our front yard. Tob said they chit chatted for an hour or so before he finally had no other choice but to load up in the bus and go get the kids from school. At this time phil ran over to the bus and then proceeded to chase after him down the street until he could no longer keep up. I think Tob was disappointed when he returned that day and he was gone. Lucky for us Phil returns each day for a little one on one time with Tob. I think he likes us all but obviously prefers Tob as he will ditch us and run to him if he happens to be around.
This morning Nojah said something in regards to Phil calling him Jerry and then I corrected him and said no his name is "Phil" and lex said ya Nojah his name is "Bill"......Whatever,
honestly I can't even tell you why he named him Phil.

I'm glad Toby has Gil to talk to, to confide in, to laugh with... I'm sure Gil WILL continue to be a good friend. Whatever his name turns out to be, ____________ (fill in the blank) is a darned beautiful bird.

Julie, I don't believe Myah has seen Phil or his hens running around, however the cats are on the prowl.
and Karen he will continue to be a good friend as long as I can continue to convince Tob and the other neighbors not to shoot him for dinner.
Tell Phil to watch out for hunters and cars. Oh and cougars, etc. Love you guys!
that is funny! We used to have a bird that knocked at our window all the time, but he would run if he saw us.
He is beautiful! I keep telling Brit they are nice birds but after the one flew at her in the car and broke the side mirror off she is terrified of them. She thinks they are out to get her. This proves they are friendly birds.
