Catched Two

Catched Two proved to be a beautiful lake set high in the back country at just over 8000 feet elevation. There isn't a trail to the lake from the main trail below so we climbed 2000 feet in 1 mile with nothing but a map, some learned navigational skills and of course our strong girl like common sense. Sandy and I didn't really know what we were in for but we made it up there in about 2 1/2 hours, sat, ate lunch, enjoyed the sunshine, and explored the lake a little watching the fish jump before heading back down. One story says the name of the lake came from a man who had been fishing up there and claimed "I catched two".

Well, the weather is suppose to be in the 80's this week and so far it hasn't let me down. Sorry to keep this brief but I've got things to do and places to see and sunshine to enjoy! Hope everyone is enjoying there fall!
