The Last Supper

This is baby flo in March

This is big girl flo now and special agent pink behind her (whose not quite a big girl yet).

Flo is about 240-250 lbs now and will be going to see the butcher very very soon. She's been a fun project for our family. Now if only we can bare to eat her :-)

How does Alexyss feel about Flo going to the butcher? I don't know if I could eat her if I'd raised her... oy! Guess I'll just keep obliviously buying my meat at Costco.

Neither of the kids seem to care too much at this point. We'll see when the time comes.

when Flo is all wrapped up in butcher paper, I'm sure it won't feel that weird. It is a sick thought though. Poor pig. I've heard fresh is so much better... Ugh, that just feels so wrong to say!

hmmm bacon ;) Next year you should sell your big fat piggys at the fair. That's what Grant did as a kid & made BANK! How else could we have bought a house?!!

About Vaquero Loco - I think Ty opens up registration in December sometime. I can keep you posted, or you can check out his blog. I'm pretty sure I really want to do it, and if you do it...then I'm TOTALLY in!
