We took a little bit of this.............
and gave each other tattoo's that looked something like these...........
and had a great time doing it.Lex has been begging intermittently for over a year to do henna tattoo's. I bought some for her while Nojah and I were in Bangladesh last year and it's taken me this long to whip it out. Yes I am ashamed of myself, but today happened to be the perfect day, boys are gone, I am recovering from a icky sinus infection and there was nothing better to do than sit around and wait for it to dry.
On a side note: Please excuse the not so cute, malformed toes, non-pedicured foot in the last photo, i was just blessed with ugly feet! Thank goodness I have Lex to fix that!

How fun! I don't think you have ugly feet and I love that having a little girl means someday I won't have to make my own feet pretty anymore, I'll just turn the pampering over to her. :)
I have always wanted to get a Henna tattoo. Please let Lex know that next time we are in Oregon!
Emily got a really pretty henna tattoo at the Saturday Market a few years back. I really like them. I especially like the fact that they're not permanent. I always liken it to the beautiful couch that seemed to "speak to me" in the furniture twenty years ago--back then it said "Buy me! Buy me!" These days it isn't saying much at all...
