Last week out of the blue Alexyss decided to write a thank you note to the tooth fairy for the money she has given her the past 2 years. So I helped her with spelling and she drew a little picture and sealed it in an envelope. Keep in mind she hasn't lost any teeth for probably 8 months, so I am not sure what brought on the idea. Anyway, after she finished her letter we were getting ready to walk to the post office and she thought it would be a great idea to leave it on the couch so that the tooth fairy could pick it up while we were gone. I told her she is a pretty busy lady and may not have time to drop by the house today so she should address it to the tooth fairy and mail it while we were at the post office. So on the envelope she wrote: ALEXYSS
TOOTHFAIRY
and we shoved it into the blue box outside when we got there. Well, yesterday we went to pick up the mail, in addition to a few adds was this bulging envelope that read: ALEXYSS
She opened it and this is what she found....

Ok. So where did the reply come from??? And don't tell me the tooth fairy!
God help me if my kids read this but the postal lady of course. Isn't that cute? I just thought it would be mailed, it would disappear and that would be the end of it. Nope, not the case. ahh, the perks of living in a small town. What's really impressive it that she knew which kid it was just by the spelling of her name. She's good!
How cute! Talk about great postal service! I hope you give her cookies around christmas time..
:)Rachel
WOW. That is impressive. She deserves CHOCOLATE cookies...
That is so sweet. I can't imagine the look Alexyss had on her face after seeing that! Way cool!
That is so awesome! That is just one reason I love small towns.
