This weekend Grandma came to visit and while she was here we went for a drive and a walk through the woods to get out of the house.
On our little trot we came across some wood piles where the kids and grandma went snail hunting. At first they only found one little snail and both kids were begging to keep it so grandma said "whoever will eat it gets it". Alexyss without any hesitation stated
"I WILL!!"
"I WILL!!"
After all the walking, skipping, snail and mushroom hunting we headed back to the car for snacks that grandma provided. Watching Nojah guzzle the pear water from this bottle made me laugh because it doesn't look like an ordinary bottle for a child of his age to be sipping from. Later that evening I questioned what was really in the bottle with his unstoppable belly laughter but I think that was just him. We had a good relaxing weekend, playing games, watching some football, reading, and eating in addition to our walk through the woods. Now the kids are gone, grandma is gone, Toby is gone and I am all alone in the house with peace and quiet. AHHHH!

U Lucky Dog...all alone? No fair no fair!!
Fun! Fun!
Do you have trouble finding things to do when everyone is gone? I usually have big plans but when I actually have a moment of peace I suddenly don't know what to do with myself.
Enjoy!
Sounds like the perfect weekend! Enjoy your peace and quiet my noise makers should be home in T-minus 30 minutes! I can hardly wait.
Christine,
I have absolutely NO problems finding something to do with my time! My alone time right now counteracts the time I will spend with them every waking moment in Guatemala for 5 weeks. I love my kids but I enjoy my alone time too.
