Halloween 2009

Alexyss and her friend Sydney at the school parade. This was clearly the year of the Vampires. Lex was a proud winner of the 2nd grade Halloween contest as well on the Friday night party.

Nojah and Micah during the parade. Nojah was yoda but broke the mask putting it on so it was set aside for "dad" to repair. One mom in class asked him why he was a star wars character every year and he said "my mom makes me". Mom?? Me?? Huh....

Yep, best pictures of the pumpkins we got this year. Lexy's is the front one and Nojah's the back. She really enjoyed carving hers and did not want assistance. "I can do it by myself mom" and Nojah would have loved it if we just did it for him. "Why do we have to carve pumpkins?" "My hand hurts." "This is hard." :-)

Halloween night I had to work of course so the kids went off in the search for candy with dad (aka, bounty hunter). I was able to walk 1/2 a street with them which was fun but wish I could have had the whole night with them. By the end of the night at work I was dressed up as contaminated trash. I think I was pretty cute but no pictures to prove it. Hope everyone else had a wonderful Halloween too!

Oh, yes and for the few of you who guessed on the previous post. We are going to Germany October 21st through November 24th of next year! Europe will be a little different adventure then we are use too, but we are very excited to go.
Anyone want to doggysit?? She's kind of cute.

"Could someone let me in please?"

I'm so sad I missed seeing the kids in their costumes, they looked really neat. Was that Toby dressed up with them???

We had a pajama party at work. It was the most comfortable day I ever had...didn't have to change clothes when I got home.

Are those the pumpkins I gave the kids? They look great. Love you guys tons.

I was right! Germany! How fun. I'd even consider going to Germany--a bit more civilized for my tastes. :)

The kids and Toby look great. Sheesh, Dawn, why do you make Nojah dress up as a Star Wars character every year??? You are just so lazy and all... ;) ;) ;)

I got a big laugh out of Nojah's pumpkin carving comments vs Miss Artsy's. She's a crafty girl, that's for sure. "My hand hurts..." That just cracks me up.

What a pretty doggy! We could doggy-sit--of course we're a bit out of the way.

I take it that doggie door isn't made for her? She looks so old and grown up - big 2 year old.

The kids looked great! I had a couple of Transformers this year. Bumblebee and Optimist Prime. My friend Julie who has a little girl and has never seen the movie thought I was making Danny go as a bumblebee...ya know a buzz buzz bumblebee. She thought I was insane and that he was going to get laughed at. Silly girl needs to get with it and not watch so many Tinkerbell movies.
