Today I was referred to as "domestic" twice within 20 minutes by both my husband and my mom. Me? Domestic? What? Dawn and Domestic aren't normally used in the same sentence, until now I guess. Yes, I canned for the first time and all by myself (with a little help from the kids with the peeling) and I have to say it's pretty rewarding when all said and done. I hope this doesn't mean they will expect great things from me in the future?? Next...Applesauce!

I've never canned before. Always thought it looked kinda fun. That is very domestic of you... considering you could just buy canned fruit! hehe
