Looks like I forgot about Easter! Well, easy to do since I was working that week. The kids woke up to wrapped up beach towels, new outfits and a solid chocolate bunny from the Easter Bunny, however, this year he did forget the baskets. Oops, he's a busy bunny so we completely understood. Anywhoo, Tob, his mom and the kids colored eggs Saturday night while I was at work and then the kids hid them for each other Easter morning.
Nojah enjoyed collecting his eggs in an egg crate and Alexyss in a ziplock bag. We have also enjoyed eating them for the past week. Egg Salad Sandwiches, YUM!
Not wanting to leave out the dog, but, not wanting her to chase, eat, and crush the eggs, Tob kept her busy with a belly rub. If you take note, he didn't even have to bend over. He just used his new wooden bat he had bought for his new minor league coaching position.
Speaking of coaching, Tob is coaching the boys minor league BB team and myself and Amy R are assisting this year. During practice Alexyss try's her best to find friends and keep herself busy. This particular day I was a little upset when I couldn't find her, that was until her little head popped up out in the field. Her new little friends had buried her alive :-)
Yesterday was a family day, Alexyss and I washed our bikes and tuned them up.
Tob worked hard cleaning the garage and fixing the bike rack to keep us "organized".
and Nojah diligently held down the rug, eating pretzels and watching TV. Anyway, that's our life in a nutshell. Couldn't get more exciting huh?? Well, off to clean the house and eat some breakfast in preparation for another exhilarating day!
