Nojah has won the local Elks hoop shoot contest every year for the past 5 years, so he has competed in the county wide shoot 5 times as well and has now been to districts twice to compete for state. Even though he didn't shoot as well as he would have liked, he did take 2nd place in districts and has a pretty cool trophy to show for it. Next year he has one more year to try for state before he is finally too old to compete. The funny thing is the same boys (Rylie and Jimmie) have also won their school shoots the past 5 years and are tough competition! Lucky for all of them that they are all great friends too, making it that much more fun to watch each year!
