Well We didn't go hiking today because Tob got called into work and we are hoping that maybe tomorrow we will get that family hike in! We are hoping to go up to Maxwell lake or Chimney lake which both are between 8-10 miles round trip so with the kids it will be an adventure. It always is! Anyway today we walked (the kids hiked) tick hill behind our house. I think it's about 3 miles round trip. They did awesome. There is absolutely no shade except for what you see in the water break picture and at the top in the gazebo. The kids did great talking and laughing until mom said "we're almost there, race ya to the top." That was when Lex started running, tripped over a rock and fell on her face literally. Ahh well, she's ok now but there were some tears at the time of the incident. Nojah was very sweet and offered to carry her camelbak all the way down. I have great kids! They must get it from their father. Anyway having fun posting but I should really go clean the house. I promise them a bike ride later so I need to get my butt in gear. Oh I just looked at it and I guess you have to attach your pictures backwards so they come up in order. Oh well you get the point. Have a great day!
