Bath Time NOW and THEN

Ok seriously, I dislike having dogs in the spring! I really do. The mud is ridiculous. Myah's kennel, although she rarely ever has to use it is a complete mud pit. Yesterday we left her in her kennel for a mere 3 hours and came home to what looked like a black wolf. Next week Tob will be going back to work full time so she will have to be in her kennel roughly 4 days every other week. It doesn't sound like a lot until you think of 4 baths every other week and then whatever may be needed in between. A bath consists of a very large puppy trying to leap out of the tub, causing harm with toenails as she is trying to escape. As you might imagine at times this does cause foul words to leave our mouths. Overall great fun! She is 6 1/2 months now and weighing in at 65lbs. Remember when we got her 4 1/2 months ago she was 14lbs. She is pretty sweet with a lot of naughty personality. I can't wait for summer to be able to just put the spray nozzle on and hose her down! Because she is so furry to she will probably have her own pool. Spoiled pup.

holy moley- she is getting HUGE! That bath water is SICK! Oh man, I now know why we don't have a dog.. Good luck with that ;)
Whoa that water is muddy! I have to admit, I take Dex in the shower (about once every six months) and lure him in there with a dog treat and once in there he never stops attempting to open the shower door with his nose. I know what you mean about the dog toenails. OUCH!
Uh, remember my questions about Lex? HELP!
