Toby and I have just returned from a 6 day trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The kids stayed with their Grandma Teri and Grandpa Wes and were lucky enough to get to spend the night with their cousins as well. We left Wednesday night after we dropped off the kids with Melissa and the dog at the kennel and drove to Twin Falls. The next day we made it to Jackson. I have always been drawn to the mountains and their amazing beauty and may I say this place is BEAUTIFUL. I can't wait to go back again. We got to spend 4 nights in a bed and breakfast with wonderful gourmet breakfast served each morning. We spent 2 days snowboarding at Jackson Hole resort and then one day of Cross country skiing which was a blast. The weather was beautiful while we were there and the snow was wonderful. We were able to get out and go for a run, and some walks along the snake river as well. We did see some moose while we were there. The most memorable will be the one we saw about 9000+ feet up the mountain while snowboarding. We stopped for a moment, looked over and there was a big momma moose trying to make her way UP the mountain. I am not sure if that is a common occurrence on the ski hill or not but I wouldn't have wanted to actually run into her and we really weren't too far off from doing just that. This was the first time we have ever left our kids for more than one or two nights and it was great. We missed them of course while we were gone but the time away was good for all of us. The kids were on vacation too! Thank you so much Mom, Dad, and Melissa for everything, the trip was fabulous.

wow, sounds like a blast! I've wanted a real vacation aways from Olivia for the last couple weeks... I enjoy 'missing' her so that I am ready and excited to see her again! I'm glad you had a good time and there were no skiing injuries!
