Our Weekend!

Well I wish I could post some really cool pictures and tell you what a wonderful weekend we had however, we ended up staying home. I packed all of our stuff on Thursday when Alexyss was home sick from school and we left for LG after Nojah was done at 3:30. That night Lex's fever spiked again to about 102-103 degree's. She kept saying she wanted to go and finally Tob said maybe if we offer to take her to Alvin and the Chipmunks movie tomorrow that she would back down. She did in fact back down so I was able to call and cancel our motel reservations. Luckily the weather was terrible so between that and Lex being sick they were very forgiving about me canceling at such a late time. So it turns out that her fever finally broke last night about 10pm but she was miserable all weekend long. I am normally one to let a fever hang out but I was alternating between motrin and tylenol to keep it at 101. Poor little thing. Tob got sick yesterday and has been running a fever as well. So basically we have been taking it easy this weekend reading books, playing games, and watching movies. We watched Sound of Music yesterday and Anne of Green Gables last week. The kids really enjoyed both. Today I went for a run and then came back because I needed to go to the post office and asked Nojah if he wanted to go for a run with me. He said sure. He ran most of the mile and made it in 12 minutes. Great job for a 7 year olds first real run. He is pretty cute. Anyway we are sitting around enjoying the superbowl, as you can see I am not much into it this year. I am not sure why but I'd rather read or blog right now. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Sick kids are the worst! Glad she is doing a little better. And Anne Of Green Gables is my most favorite movie in the whole world!
